Today I had the honour of officiating at an Infant Naming ceremony in Greeley Park. The Infant in question was Seryn Rain D. and she was the star of the show in no uncertain terms.

I had been contacted by her mother when her original minister could not attend the service as arranged. Everything was written, so the ceremony itself I cannot take credit for, merely the execution of it.

It was a lovely day, a little hotter than I would have liked, but the parents had taken the time to erect an ez-up shelter for their guests. It provided a good amount of shade.

We welcomed everyone, made reference to the honour it was for us all to be present at such an important event in the life of this child, named her, named the godparents, honoured the grandparents and anointed and blessed the child.

This was a very happy event and the family were very close knit. It was a fabulous event, Congratulations and welcome to the world Seryn!
